“The Key”: Claire Lambell (Southpaw)

This week we have Claire Lambell sharing her thoughts with Booster Consulting Limited on what "The Key" 🔑 is to successful Client, Agency relationships.

Claire Lambell is the Managing Director of Southpaw, whose purpose is to “Fight Your Corner” (brought to life in the logo and name!). Southpaw are a strategic creative agency helping brands with a challenger mindset to outsmart the crowd.

❓ What is the key to Strong Client, Agency Relationships? (in 3 words or less):

➡ ”Transparency, Curiosity, Feedback"

❓ Please expand on this (In 100 words or less):

➡ “Creating the conditions for great client relationships to be built and excellent work to be produced starts with trust, but trust comes from being transparent and delivering to client expectations from the start. With our challenger brand mindset, we are innately curious since it drives innovative thinking and growth and we ask the same of our clients in embracing change and challenging the status quo to achieve their goals. In projects and throughout the duration of our client relationships, we make time for feedback, which is a two way channel and helps ensure a healthy partnership for the long term.”

❓ What is your longest Client-Agency relationship?

➡ Honda: 40 years (and counting)

A standout example of the positive relationships they have with their Clients is their work for the challenger US cosmetics brand E.L.F. BEAUTY, who they helped launch in the UK last year.

Take a look at the work and case study here: https://www.southpawagency.com/elf

…and check out this quote from their E.L.F. BEAUTY Client:

“Southpaw continue to push our creative boundaries at every stage of the process. They are inspiring partners who collaborate with all stakeholders, constantly have our community and superpowers in mind and are always finding ways to make deeper connections into culture."

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on “The Key” 🔑 Claire Lambell.

Here’s to fighting your corner and building strong relationships!
