I had the pleasure of haveing a "Quick Conversation 🎤 " with Jeanette Hübsch, Global Procurement Lead Commercial at Grünenthal Group, just after her brilliant talk on stage at the Marketing Procurement iQ Conference at The Kia Oval - Surrey County Cricket Club.
🎤 Jeanette Hübsch's session was titled:

So I had to ask:
👉 What’s “The Key 🔑” to successful business relationships?
🧠 Jeanette Hübsch’s answer: "Communication".
But not just any kind — emotionally intelligent communication.
Here is what she shared:
1️⃣ “Always focus on open, mindful and trustful communication.”
2️⃣ “Emotional intelligence means first understanding your own feelings — and then understanding others - your partners’.”
3️⃣ “It helps improve negotiations, both in a business context as well as your private life.”
4️⃣ “In negotiation, it is rarely just about price — you need to understand the underlying ‘why’.”
🤝 A powerful reminder that the best procurement and marketing partnerships are human first — and built on more than just numbers.
