“The Key”: Tracey Barber (Havas Creative Network)

This week we have Tracey Barber, as our contributor to Booster Consulting Limited's Insights' "The Key" 🔑

Tracey Barber is the Global Chief Transformation & Growth Officer of Havas Creative Network and describes Havas as a uniquely integrated network driven by the desire to make a meaningful difference. An important part of Tracey Barber’s role is to deliver outstanding client experience, which has a lot to do with creating strong relationships!

❓ What is the key to Strong Client, Agency Relationships? (in 3 words or less):

➡ ”Trust"

❓ Please expand on this (In 100 words or less):

➡ “Every relationship – in every sense of the word – is based on trust. That’s fundamental. Lose it, and the relationship breaks down. It might be protracted and painful, it might be quick and explosive. Either way, the relationship is doomed. Client/agency relationships are no different. Trust might lead to disagreements. It may cause difficult or uncomfortable conversations. It will also result in healthier, more meaningful professional relationships, and better and more effective work. Ultimately, that’s why we’re all here.”

❓ What is your longest Client-Agency relationship?

Reckitt: 20+ years (and stronger than ever)!

The success of the Reckitt relationship is very much demonstrated by their campaign “Me, My Autism and I” for Vanish. Vanish is Reckitt’s garment care brand and the campaign drove an important conversation about autism in girls.

🤔 Please do take a look at the insightful, honest, thought-provoking and emotional campaign here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Xtog_zRRJg&t=11s

🏆 It won Channel 4’s “Diversity in Advertising” Award and has become Havas London's most awarded campaign ever in the process! (not surprising if you have seen it)

Thank you for sharing your great take on “The Key” 🔑 Tracey Barber.
